Text your customers booking and order updates
Customers who tick a box when they book or check out get a text when it's confirmed, before the appointment, and when an order is paid, ready or shipped.

Texts to your customers are part of Pro and Business.
- Open Text messages in the sidebar (under Customers, or press Ctrl K and type texts).
- Under Texts to your customers, check the texts we picked for your page. Each one is shown with your real service and times. Untick any you don't want.
- Tap Turn on texts.
That's all. From now on, your booking form and checkout show an unticked box: "Text me updates about this booking from Utilica." Only people who tick it get texts, and they type their mobile number right there.
What gets sent
- Booking confirmed: when a booking is confirmed, by you or automatically.
- Booking reminder: before the appointment, at the reminder time you set for bookings.
- Booking cancelled: when you cancel a booking.
- Payment received, Ready to pick up and Order shipped for orders.
Every text links to the customer's own booking or order page, where they can see the details, pay, or cancel. They still get the same updates by email too.
Hide the box on bookings only
In your booking settings (Get Paid → Services and hours), turn off Offer text updates. Order checkouts keep the box.
