Booking depositsAlternatives
If your clients would rather pay in Cash App or Venmo than hand over a card, take the deposit there, with the amount filled in and nothing taken by us.
In its own words
Square Appointments is a complete booking and point-of-sale system, with deposits on its free plan, card readers and staff calendars. If most of your clients pay by card in person, it is hard to beat, and its card rates are lower than our free plan's. The difference here is for people whose clients pay in Cash App, Venmo, PayPal or Zelle: those payments carry no fee from us at all.

More than bookings
Products or services with photos, sizes and prices. It takes a few minutes.
Customers pick what they want and see one total, with tax, to the cent.
Cash App, Venmo, PayPal or Zelle opens with the amount filled in. We take no fee on those payments.
Free to start, with 5 products and their checkout. Utilica never holds your money.
It has a free plan at $0 per location, with deposits and prepayment. Plus is $49 and Premium $149 a month per location, and card payments carry Square's processing fees.
By card, Square's rates are lower: 3.3% + 30¢ online on its free plan, against Stripe's 2.9% + 30¢ plus 3% on Utilica's free plan. Paid in Cash App, Venmo, PayPal or Zelle, a Utilica booking costs nothing from us.
Yes. Some people keep Square for card payments at the counter and use a Utilica page in their bio for bookings paid in Cash App or Venmo.
There is a limit, not a clock: a page with 5 products and its checkout, bookings with deposits, forms, and QR codes that never expire. Pro, at $7.99 a month, raises the limits, and Business removes them and adds full analytics.
