How customers opt in to booking and order texts
Utilica runs the booking and checkout on every Utilica page (at utilica.app). When someone books an appointment or places an order there, they can ask Utilica to text them about it. The texts come from Utilica’s own number, start with “Utilica:”, and are about that one booking or order: the confirmation, a reminder, a change, and payment, pickup or shipping updates. Never marketing.
Utilica writes every text. Businesses can’t write their own texts or send texts to anyone through Utilica. The box starts unticked, and the same updates still come by email for anyone who leaves it unticked. See our Booking and Order Text Terms and Privacy Policy.

What the texts look like
Every text starts with “Utilica:” and names the business the booking or order is with. The first text to a number ends with how to opt out. About 1 to 4 texts per booking or order. Message and data rates may apply.
